A genuine and moving story about a 16 year-old girl and her relationship with a boy that, like her, is fighting terminal cancer. A tragic story showing our ability to dream even in the most difficult circumstances (The Fault in Our Stars--Spanish-language edition).
Hazel has just turned 16 and she has cancer. Despite treatments that have miraculously shrunk her tumor, her disease is still terminal. Doctors can't tell her how much time she has left, and she depends on an oxygen tank and permanent treatments in order to survive. For several weeks now, Hazel has been part of a support group in which other kids her age share their experiences, but she attends it reluctantly because she believes it's pointless to speak to other people if her disease is irreversible. Her life takes a sudden shift when she meets Augustus Waters, a boy also struggling with terminal cancer who will completely change her way of seeing things.
